Abstract

This article presents a general overview of Tadeusz Ślipko’s scientific achievements in the field of bioethics. For Ślipko, bioethics is primarily part of a detailed philosophical ethics. He does not seek to create a new and separate discipline with its own methodology. It thus forms a part of a body thinking embedded in a particular philosophy of knowledge, metaphysics and anthropology.
