Abstract

In this article the author examines the question of the anthropological basis of human dignity. He presents and critically examines two philosophical understandings of it: intuitionistic personalism and libertarian humanist philosophy. Against this background, he reflects on what constitutes human dignity, considering the problem of freedom and the moral determinants of human dignity.
