TY - JOUR AB - This article discusses the concept of actio immanens – action derived from the entity and remaining in it, not given from the outside by some other entity. The question of the actio immanens is actually the question of life itself: of the dynamics of the living. A fundamental biological dynamics promises to uncover the whole form of the living, beyond which there can be no dynamics of life. The author refers to the example of the construction of nests by white-crowned Black Wheatears, and on this basis she considers biological dynamics in conjunction with two other kinds of dynamics: technical and mineral ones.
